Research shows that successful active travel promotions support and build on ‘what works’ in local communities. This study explored what every day walking and cycling looks like in two South Auckland communities using an ‘active mobility cultures framework’ to gather information on current active travel behaviour and future needs. The work provided insights into local walking and cycling patterns and the ingredients for successful local active transport promotion in these communities. Access
